Made to order. Dispatches from 15 September

Description

Phi, the twenty-first letter of the Greek alphabet, has long been recognised as a symbol with a unique connection to language, knowledge, and intellectual exploration. Derived from the ancient Greek phî, it represents one of the foundational letters of the alphabet that has influenced written communication and cultural expression for centuries. Throughout history, Phi has held particular significance in mathematics, science, and philosophy, where it is used to represent important concepts, including the golden ratio, a proportion associated with harmony and balance in art, nature, and design.

Reimagined as a timeless jewellery piece, the Phi design celebrates individuality and personal expression. Its distinctive form reflects the enduring heritage of the Greek alphabet and its connection to creativity, discovery, and the pursuit of understanding, creating a meaningful symbol inspired by the relationship between knowledge, beauty, and human thought.

Whether representing a loved one or yourself, the initial becomes a meaningful reminder of a name, a bond, or a significant moment as each letter is transformed into a personal symbol of identity and connection.

How to measure

The hands-on method

  1. Grab a tape measure, a length of string, or a strip of paper.
  2. Wrap it around the finger you'll wear your ring on — if you're creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit — and mark the place where it joins.
  3. Lay the string or paper strip on a flat surface and measure the length up to the mark. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest °'HRIAM ring size.

Measure an existing ring

  1. Choose a ring that already fits your finger well.
  2. Measure the interior diameter of the ring in millimetres.
  3. Use the chart above to match it to the closest size.
