Description

Aquamarine, the birthstone of March, has long been associated with serenity, courage, and protection. Its tranquil blue hues evoke the calm of the sea, symbolizing clarity, harmony, and renewal. In ancient times, aquamarine was believed to possess healing properties, with water infused by the gemstone thought to cure ailments of the heart, liver, and stomach. Sailors also treasured it as a powerful talisman, often engraving it with the likeness of the sea god Neptune to safeguard them from the dangers of the ocean and ensure safe passage. Today, aquamarine remains a symbol of peace, resilience, and the enduring connection between the sea and the spirit.

  • Stones: aquamarine & white sapphires
  • Shape: round, brilliant-cut

How to measure

The hands-on method

  1. Grab a tape measure, a length of string, or a strip of paper.
  2. Wrap it around the finger you'll wear your ring on — if you're creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit — and mark the place where it joins.
  3. Lay the string or paper strip on a flat surface and measure the length up to the mark. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest °'HRIAM ring size.

Measure an existing ring

  1. Choose a ring that already fits your finger well.
  2. Measure the interior diameter of the ring in millimetres.
  3. Use the chart above to match it to the closest size.
